Covid-19 has put many a physical event on hold, fashion graduation shows included. Nevertheless, in the social bubble we call Shanghai, the ultimate China Designer incubator LABELHOOD came to the rescue.
The LABELHOOD Youtopia “RESET” fashion show and panel on August 3&4, 2020, gave Chinese fashion grads the opportunity to brandish their most forward and forceful formations.
Moreover, on the more competitive side of al shapes studious, the six students with the fiercest scores received the opportunity to partake in the LABELHOOD SS21 exhibit coming up this October.

Both LABELHOOD and CONVERSE中国 have always been committed to supporting up and coming Chinese designers. For their 2020 graduation show, the students participated in the creative redesign of the Chuck Taylor All-Stars to bring the brand an instant injection of vitality. Main concept for the grads to contemplate:
“Sustainability and environmental protection as a symbol of modern fashion.”
In addition to the actual catwalk, LABELHOOD hosted two panels, inviting seven seniors in the industry to the stage to discuss some of fashion’s latest ongoings, namely:
Talk 1: “In times of everything digital, how to make better use of social media to boost the economy”
Guests Mayble Gao, Nigel Nigel, and LABELHOOD founder Tasha Liu provided some in-depth professional and effective guidelines.
Talk 2: “In times of pandemic pandemonium, how to best tackle the issue of employment in fashion”
Jiajun Liang, Bohan Qiu, Haoran Li, and Tasha Liu respectively shared their study and industry-entry experiences, offering the inquisitive audience numerous suggestions to keep under their belt.
