Articles should hone in on China Fashion, Design or Urban Culture, or at the very least have implications for these. We’re interested in everything ranging from broad fashion designers, emerging brands and stores even, first- and second-tier cultural streamings or fashio-socio shifts to trends and social media implications at play in China Fashion — from the shoe cobbling artisan to the metahuman marketer to a fashion-tech bag aficionado/-a.
The only thing we ask you to do before reaching out to us is to take a good look at some of the articles we’ve already published to familiarize yourself with our content and style. This should help you get an idea of the range of stories we’re looking for and give you some direction in framing your pitch.
All submissions should be your own work and include original reporting. When drawing on secondary reporting, content or research, you must include references and| or hyperlinks to the original source in the article body. All imagery, too, must come with references to their original sources.
When it comes to your pitch frolickings: Sell us your suggested headline, elevator pitch, segment breakdown, interviewee line-up and, if already available, imagery sources. Get bold; get creative and color outside those lines!
We’re also interested in quality work from photographers and videographers. If you’ve got a special project that you’ve been hoping to find an outlet for, let us know.
Last, but certainly not least, please ensure that your piece has not been published elsewhere, unless agreed upon in writing.
